Known to his friends as Ken, a much loved husband, father & grandfather passed away quickly & peacefully at home, surrounded by loving family members in the early hours of April 13th, 2021. 

It was a perfect passing. 

Over the accumulating years of working in the dust on the coal face; sawdust at the timber yard, dipping fence panels in creosote & cutting asbestos sheets with a circular saw, it would not have been unreasonable to predict a short life for Ken, however, using his invisibility cloak to avoid Death until he was an old man: having recently turning 94; having been married for 64 years; having helped raise three great kids; having developed a very successful business; having traveled & lived life to the full, on Monday night Ken was ready to meet Death as an old friend & under his own terms.
