Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am competing in the Loch Ness Duathlon then a week later doing the 10km Great Yorkshire Run to hopefully raise some money for the British Heart Foundation.
The Loch Ness Duathlon event involves a 7km trail run followed by a 56km bike ride followed by a 5km run.
It is something that I have never come close to doing before but I have decided to push myself into this event because I am keen to show my commitment and hopefully you will appreciate that and donate some money.
Just as I was begining to think I had bitten off more than I could chew I decided to add the Great Yorkshire Run the following week! I suppose it's like stamping on your toe to forget the pain in your hand!

I think everyone has someone they know that has been affected by heart disease and that is why it is so important to support the BHF to allow them to carry on their fanatastic work.
I personally know several people who without this invaluable work would have had very different lives.
At the end of the day we all have a heart and hopefully you will find it in yours to donate! (too cheesy?).
The British Heart Foundation are the nation's heart charity. Their vision is a world where people don't die prematurely from heart disease.
They will achieve this through pioneering research, vital prevention activity and ensuring quality care and support for everyone living with heart disease.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please, have a heart, dig deep and donate now.
