So I have decided to take on the Yorkshire 3 Peak at night challenge. I have chosen to use this challenge as a way to raise money and awareness for MIND. 

I have chosen MIND because it is a support platform for mental health and illnesses surrounding mental health. Someone very close to my heart was diagnosed with an eating disorder last year and seeing the mental and physical impact it had on the whole family was soul destroying. The stigma and stereotyping around this needs to change; 

"I wish people would move away from stereotypes and understand that eating disorders are not only to do with weight, but thoughts, feelings and behaviours – regardless of the number a scale shows, and regardless of physical appearance."

Over all mental health is at an all time high and has risen drastically other the last few years, which has resulted in the sufferers also being diagnosed with eating disorders and many other illnesses alike. Many who suffer this silent illness receive little to no support, which has resulted in loved ones being taken from us way to soon. Together we can change this
