Story
The Cornish Seal Sanctuary have overheads per month that can cost in excess of £23,000. Throughout the C-19 crisis, they have been unable to open their doors for two months, thus reducing any funding they'd usually receive. CSS are still looking at remaining closed for another month at least. This in itself is bringing them up to around £69,000 that they need, but are unable to fund. These costs cover the food for all animals in the sanctuary, from seals, to goats, to ponies. As well as food, it covers the cost of medication and treatment for during the rehabilitation period, and for the more permanent "patients" that will be unable to be released back into the wild.
In order to help, I am pledging to walk 144 miles throughout the month of June (6 miles every day). They are only small steps, but they could help massively.
