Story
JDFR is the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, who fund research into finding the cure for Type 1 diabetes and improving the lives of those living with it.
My daugher Meg was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in July 2011 when she was just 9. Having Type 1 diabetes has changed her life and she is now dependent on insulin which is delivered to her through an insulin pump. when Meg was first diagnosed she had to have at least 4 injections a day, since having the pump this has given her a little more freedom and she no longer has to endure the painful injections.
JDRF were there for us as a family when we were first diagnosed and they have been since. their main aim is to fund research into finding a CURE - which would be AMAZING.
