skydive for stick 'n' step · 24 March 2021
As part of the team at Stick'n'Step, I have the pleasure of seeing all the children who attend our centres overcome some of the challenges they are faced with each day. I have seen so many children achieve so much in the time they have attended our centres. It's those children who have inspired me to overcome one of my fears, of heights and being scared. ( I get scared going up the loft ladder at work.)
As most are aware Stick'n'Step is a charity very close to my heart.
Jess wanted to take part in this event with me as she has been my very best friend for over 30 yrs and been with me through many of my emotional times and supported me with Charlie. Jess also has a nephew with cerebral palsy so taking on this challenge for stick 'n' step is very close to jess heart in many ways. please support us in this once in a lifetime adventure ( one ticked of our bucket list )
At Stick 'n' Step we support over 100 children and young people with cerebral palsy who come for weekly sessions of group conductive education. We enable and inspire each individual child to reach their full potential by providing conductive education, a combination of holistic therapies enhancing their physical, social and emotional wellbeing. Stick 'n' Step provide children with opportunities to take on challenges that may have been out of their reach beforehand, encouraging them to become more mobile, more confident and more independent. Are you up for challenging yourself?
