Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Bupa Great Birmingham half marathon on 20th October in aid of raising money for the Liver Foundation Trust, a part of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham charity.

As most of our friends and family know, my husband is under the care of the Liver Unit at the Queen Elizabeth hospital. He has a condition that is causing his liver not to work properly and this is resulting in the deterioration of his liver function. He is now starting to get more ill and will need a liver transplant. So I would like to use my running to help raise funds for his hospital, which does such a great job of helping save so many lives through liver transplantation each year.
