Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Having MS is rubbish. And yet… thanks to the joys of modern medicine I can (as one rather unfortunate specialist told me at a medical conference a couple of years back) “pass for normal”. Ahem…

So the reason I am running this race is basically because I can. The only reason I can even consider it is because I’m on a medication that works for me. A medication that wasn’t available a decade ago. And I'm grateful. The first medication I tried didn’t work for me. And the medication I’m on now doesn’t work for others. And there still isn’t a cure. So that’s the reason I am raising money for the MS society. They do good work. They support the medical research. They support those with MS. And they support those people who care for those with MS.

So that’s it, basically self-interest, but the 999,999 other people with MS in the UK may also benefit from any cash you can spare!
