I'm running the Race for Life on Sunday July 9th to raise money for my fabulous friend Ian's chosen charity, "Above and Beyond". 

Ian would have been 40 on 7th July this year so it seems a fitting tribute to him to raise money for such a good cause.

In 2005 Ian was diagnosed with a very rare tumour in his head called an Ameloblastoma.

The Bristol Dental Hospital led his treatment along with the Bristol Royal Infirmary, St. Michael’s hospital and Bristol Oncology Centre.

Professor Thomas was Ian's consultant at the Dental Hospital and the money we raise for the Above and Beyond Charity will be passed directly to his fund. Professor Thomas is keen for Ian's friends and family to be involved with how the money will be spent to help improve the quality of care and treatments.

Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated as it will all go towards caring for other special people like my friend Ian.
