Dear Sir/Madam,

                      my son George who is 10 years old came up with a great idea last night of how to raise money and awareness of cancer and he thought of it totally himself, for which Iam extremely proud. Below is the letter he wrote.

My name is George Turnbull. I am 10 and I live in Chelmsford. I am raising money for cancer charities, this is because in the past my family including my grandad and both my nans have been badly hit by the disease, and I want to do my bit to help.

I intend to do my own triathlon starting with a two mile walk a 3 mile bike ride and finishing with 10 lengths in a swimming pool.

This will be a big challenge for me as on 21st February 2011 I broke my leg, and it's taking me a long time to recover.

Would you consider sponsoring me please.

 

This will all take place in Chelmsford, with his mum and dad by his side.

 

All I ask is that you just consider his humble, honest and heartfelt request.
