WE DID IT!!

Been back in the UK after the experience of a lifetime for a couple of days now. The challenge was a slog at times but was generally great fun. The knowledge that what we were putting ourselves through was for the 'greater good' kept us all going during the more difficult times.

Well peeps - I'm actually doing this!

I decided that I needed to do something this year. You know, give something back. See something new. Take on a challenge...

I thought to myself, "what better way to do all of those things than by having a little stroll along the Great Wall of China for charity?" So I did a bit of research and discovered that this was actually possible!

And there it was. I paid the deposit and registered my place and was feeling all pleased with myself when the welcome pack arrived...

No joke - they're expecting me to walk for appoximately 8 hours a day for 5 days over some crazy terrain (you wanna see some of them hills) and sleep in a TENT!! And to add insult to injury I have to get fit to do it! Seriously?! Do the charity I'm raising money for not know how lazy I am?!

Well, there's no turning back now so the fitness/health kick is officially on. For those of you who see me regularly - I'm sure that you'll find the whole ordeal (because that's what it'll be for me) very amusing. That's got to be worth a donation, right? :O)

For those of you who don't see me all that regularly - think of the money you have saved by not having a beer with me. Surely you can spare a few quid?! ;O)
