In loving memory of the beautiful and brave princess Aoife!

June 9th 2021 I am be taking part in a sponsored wing walk to raise money for this incredible charity and raise awareness for child germ cell cancer.

Being a mum myself I have HUGE fire and passion in my belly to do this!!

Aoife Flanagan was born on 21st January 2016. True to her name, Aoife was a genuine 'warrior princess', beating meningitis at 6 weeks of age. Aoife recovered remarkably and went on to live a full life, with Mummy Eilish, Mummy's horse Argy and Aoife's pony Bubbles.

The beautiful and very brave Aoife became unwell with sickness in April 2019, this was put down to viruses and constipation by her GP and local hospital. This went on for some time where she was in and out of hospital. My friend Elish is her beautiful mum and she knew that there was something wrong with Aoife, however she was told by many GP's and consultants that she was being a over projected parent and that everything was put down to viral infections. 

After many times of Elish saying there is something more to this the consultants eventually tested and found the germ cell cancer on 2nd July 2019.....by the 7th July 2019 sadly the very brave little Aoife passed away just aged 3yrs old.. Elish went on to set up Aoife's bubbles to bring more awareness to childhood cancer and to support parents and children affected by this. Her strength and courage is inspirational  

By helping me raise HUGE awareness and any kind donations to the charity we will be make this change together! The bigger the WE the bigger the positive impact we can make!

Aoife's bubbles is the UK's only registered childhood Germ Cell cancer charity. They are raising lots of awareness and educating many people as they can about the symptoms, diagnosis and effect of this disease. They will to change national childhood cancer diagnosis times by raising much needed childhood cancer awareness as a whole and ending the stigma childhood cancer is rare. They are educating the medical community and empowering parents with vital childhood cancer information, in particular Germ Cell cancer. This will, without a doubt - save young lives..

The charity is also providing acts of joy to children and their families affected by childhood cancer.
