Celtic Mountain Challenge · 16 June 2017 ·
2017 has been a reminder that Daryl's treatment, as part of a clinical trial is reliant on continuous research. As with any trial, side effects / risk warnings will unravel as the trial goes on and as more research comes to light but it is also the ever reminder that research is what has kept him alive and for that we are truly grateful.
I have decided to take part in the LLNI Celtic Mountain Challenge which will consist of climbing 4 of the highest peaks in Ireland all within 48 hours.
We'll start in Newcastle, Co Down with an early morning climb of Slieve Donard, then it's off to Donegal to climb Mount Errigal. An overnight drive will allow us to ascend Croagh Patrick in time to see the sunrise. Then to finish we'll head to Wexford and the highest peak of the challenge, Lugnaquilla.
I take on this challenge on 16th June 2017, so please sponsor what you can to keep me going as this is going to be a tough one and I will need all the motivation to keep me going over the 48 hours before I can get to my bed!! Ha ha.
I have to raise a minimum of £700. Any donations will be greatly received and appreciated, thank you for all your continuous support.
Love you guys xxx
