Story
As you may or may not be aware, unfortunately Leukeamia became a reality to our lives at the start of this year. Therefore I have decided to set myself a challenge, to climb the Slieve Donard Moonlit Trek on the night of the 7 June, to raise funds for Northern Ireland Leukeamia Research Fund.
This is a cause close to our hearts as the research and development of Leukeamia, has played a massive part in the last 5 years, to the survival rates of Leukeamia patients, with new ‘wonder drugs’ on the market and current clinical trials that are undergoing, to ensure the best possible outcomes for the patients. Therefore I am doing my bit to help raise funds for future developments towards fighting this disease.
