Story
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic condition which causes sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive system. It affects more than 10,800 people in the UK. One in 25 of us carries the faulty gene that causes it, usually without knowing. Cystic fibrosis comes with challenges, affecting our physical health, mental wellbeing and how we choose to live our lives. But our community is uniting towards the ultimate goal of effective treatment for all.Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the charity uniting people to stop cystic fibrosis.
Our daughter Eden was born on the 30/6/18 with Cystic Fibrosis. We will be completing our annual sponsored 10mile trek around Portland on the 5th June 2022, to raise vital funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust who help improve the lives of people/children living with this disease. We’d love for friends and family to join us and make this year bigger and better than previous years. The theme is yellow so be as yellow as you feel comfortable. We’re encouraging yellow themed snacks like bananas, soreen, dib dabs etc. Meeting at the helipad by Portland castle 9.15 to start at 9.30 and ending at the helipad car park by Portland castle stopping at the lobster pot on route for lunch.
So get your yellow on get some sponsors and join us on the 5th June 2022 children&dogs welcome💛💛💛xxx
