I have been thinking about this for a while now after seeing a very moving video on my hairdressers facebook page about this time last year of a little girl receiving a wig from the little princess trust and how happy it made her despite her illness.

The little princess trust provides real hair wigs free to children. These wigs are made from hair from willing donaters and costs the charity nothing to make and give to a child who needs one. However if there isn't a suitable wig available then the charity purchases one with the funds raised and these can cost an average of £350. Hence the important need to not only donate our hair but also to raise funds to help this charity continue it's amazing work helping these poorly boys and girls.

So along with Hollie, who has helped to spur me into action by setting a date and target hopefully together and individually we can raise not only the £350 required for each wig but also more!

My hair is just over the required length (17cm) so I won't be shaving my head but it will be quite short (eeeek!) and the chop will be taking place on the 29th of August.

Your donation big or small is greatly appriciated and will help me to complete this slightly scary task of removing my long locks, but all in the name of making a prince or princess smile :)
