I am taking part in the Bupa 10k run which takes place in London on the 27th May 2012. I am going to be taking part in order to raise money for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. 

People who know me will already know I am an AWA at Battersea, so I know how hard everyone works in helping the animals in our care.  In 2010 Battersea cared for 6,917 dogs and 2,742 cats.

Established in 1860, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home aims never to turn away a dog or cat in need of their help.  They reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners through the Lost Dogs & Cats Line or care for them until new homes can be found, giving them shelter and the highest standards of veterinary care.
