5 years ago my daughter Zara was born with a serious heart defect and since then undergone 4 surgeries of open heart bypass operations.
We now want to show our thanks to the wonderful doctors and nurses by trying to raise over £10,000 for the cardiac unit at BCH. My employer have been so good and understanding over the past 4 years and now they are wanting to help me say thanks!
It all starts on Thursday 12th September with a charity golf day, dinner and dance and then on 26th September 4 of Zara's closest family and friends are taking part in a gruelling 12 hour golf marathon to raise yet more donations for this charity.
