Story
This year I am running the London Marathon (!) for the wonderful charity Young Lives vs Cancer.
Young Lives vs Cancer provide support to children and young people with cancer, as well as their families during the hardest of times. This includes financial support, social workers, and accommodation to allow families to stay close to their child's specialist treatment center which can often be miles from their own home. All of this is absolutely vital for a child or young person with cancer. As a radiotherapy student I have truly seen how important this all round support is.
I am aiming to raise £2000 which could pay for 52 families to stay the night in one of Young Lives vs Cancer's Homes from Home. Sam's House in Bristol is one of these homes and is one of two places in Bristol that families from Cornwall and the South West stay when their child has been diagnosed with cancer. You can find a tour of Sam's house here

I have dabbled in two half marathons before but the full thing is a whole different ball game! Please feel free to ask me how my training is going throughout the next year to make me do it!
Thank you so much for your support and donations. I hope to do you proud.
