Ark Alexandra Academy is a co-educational school in Hastings, bringing together Ark William Parker Academy and Ark Helenswood Academy, while preserving and building on the legacy of both. As a Church of England school, Ark Alexandra has strong universal Christian values that firmly inform our ethos and culture.

As part of the Ark Sports Day Challenge the Ark network of schools aims to travel the distance around the earth (40,000km!). Ark Alexandra
has pledged to do 3000km from 1st-15th July. To contribute towards this total my Art & Design team of wonderful teachers and technicians have decided to walk, run, skip and/or cycle as many km's as possible and beat all the other departments including P.E!!! This is already a challenge as Jenny has just told me that she has put her back out and we haven't started yet!...so we need as much support as possible!!! 

All money raised will go to Ark Alexandra Covid Charity. The coronavirus pandemic has affected every one of us but especially the students in profound and long-lasting ways. Students have lost a lot from the disruption to school – they have missed out on learning time, not seen their friends and had no opportunity to take part in their normal extra curriculum activities. We have to make up for lost time as much as possible – which is why we are fundraising for this cause. Any donation you make will support the students in three areas:

•    Access to technology to ensure students have 1:1 learning opportunities and can learn at home

•    Academic programmes to close the increased learning gap as a result of the school closures

•    Additional wellbeing and mental health support for those students who require it

We are raising money to help. Every penny counts!
