Story
Myself and my daughter Yaz, who was one of Lorraine's friends will be joining Lorraine's family on Sunday 6th March to walk 13 miles in remembrance of Lorraine but also to raise money for Devon rape crisis and also to ask our local council for a 24hr managed cctv hub. No family should go through this pain and change is needed. Any donation would be gratefully received.
A note from the page
Welcome to the Lorraine Cox Memorial Campaign.Lorraine was cruelly taken from us all a little over a year ago, whilst walking home through the High Street after a night out in Exeter. On Sunday, March 6, 2022, Lorraine's father, Tony (aka, Papa) and brother will be walking 13-miles around Exeter to raise awareness for the campaign to support safer streets and to work towards the end of violence to women in our communities. The family are also working with many authorities nationally and locally behind scenes to effect this, and through their activities in March - and beyond - will be raising funds for a range of causes, including the vital but over-stretched charity:Devon Rape Crisis and Sexual Abuse Services .While nothing can bring Lorraine back or heal the families forever broken hearts, all funds raised from this campaign will help them in their mission to help others in need and to remember our Lorraine with Love and Positivity.
