In 1996 my beautiful sister Nicola Price died suddenly from Meningitis.

My family were left devestated,she was only 28 years old.

Although time is a great healer, not a day goes past when we don't think of Nicky and over the years my family have raised money for Meningitis charities.

Meningitis Research Foundation is based in Bristol and they have been very supportive over the years.

My amazing husband Elliot is taking part in an 'Iron Man distance Triathlon' on 1st July 2012 in Nottingham.He has been training for a year and is hoping to raise as much as possible for the charity.

The Triathlon consists of :- 2.4 mile open water swim,112 cycle and 26 mile run.A Total of 140.4 miles,all within a 17 hour time limit!!!

I am very proud of him and grateful that he is supporting such a worthwhile charity.

Please dig deep(as Elliot will be on the day!) and give what you can afford so that the money can go towards finding a cure for this dreadful disease and that other families will be spared from losing a loved one.
