Fundraising for RNIB - Royal National Institute of Blind People
I am lucky enough to have secured a place for this famous half marathon in Newcastle on September 11th 2016., a few days before my 53rd birthday.
I have pledged to raise a minimum of £350 to support people , young and old who have lost their sight
The reality of losing your sight is that you dont just lose your sight; you could lose your independence, your income, your ability to get out and about, and the chance to do what you want.
I didnt start wearing glasses till my mid 40s for reading .. i feel lucky but i appreciate the struggles and inconvenience people experience if their sight is not perfect.
Please support this great cause.. either on my justgiving page.. my paper sponsorform at work or drop a few quid in my collecting tin.
Thank you so much. Live Love Laugh
