All my training is really starting to pay off. I am getting fitter and healthier every day. Starting to feel that I can actually make my Grandad proud. Please take the time to read what I am running for and share with family and friends. Thank you xx
Right, haven't done this for a while but I am running a half marathon in April in memory of my amazing Grandad who died of Motor Neurone Disease. Please help me raise money so that more research and suport can be given to those suffering from it and their families. Thank you for taking the time to read this xxx
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running a half marathon to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Assosiation in memory of my Grandad, Alan Adams. In January 2012 he passed away due to this nasty disease and in a fairly short amount of time. It is a very complicated disease that has many forms and strengths that are not easy to diagnose. When my family were told that he had MND none of us really understood what that meant. I am running to raise money to help other families understand what it is and also to raise money so that research can continue in order to find a way to help and maybe one day cure those suffering with it.
This disease took away one of the greatest men in my family's life. A caring, hard working, polite and loveable man who gave everything he had. A man that is missed every single day. I will do what I can to help all those other families out there who are going through what we went through. So please, support what I am running for and donate whatever you can spare, even if it is just 20p. It will truly make a difference.
I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to visit my page and reading my story.
Let the training begin!
