Hello! Some of you may have already heard of my marathon adventures so I'll try not to waffle too much! 

**Update London Marathon has been postponed but that will not stop me running the marathon distance on the day  it should've taken place and fundraising for Round Table childrens wish, I will just be doing alot of laps of our beer garden instead to get to 26.2 miles!**

This will be my 3rd consecutive year running the London marathon and fundraising for the round table childrens wish, but here's a brief history of my marathon adventures...

Whilst pregnant with Angus i decided to sign up for a marathon even though I hadnt really run since leaving school and certainly no more than a 5k! ( I blame the pregnancy hormones!) once I gave birth I had 5 months to recover, train and run the Stirling marathon, which I did and loved the journey, not only the training and the marathon but also the fundraising. So this very quickly snowballed and I then decided I would try and run 100 marathons before I am 70 to raise lots of money and awareness for charity , to inspire others and to make my family, especially my 3 young children proud.

So far I have run 11 marathons some local, and some further afield (as far as Las vegas!) I have run the london marathon twice for round table childrens wish and this will be my 3rd consecutive year and I love running for such a deserving and supportive charity.

Through my marathon adventures so far (plus some halfs including the Great North run) we have raised in excess of £7000 for a few small charities. That is an incredible amount of money. Huge hugeeee thanks to everyone  who has supported me along the way.

I try to keep my marathon adventures exciting and lighthearted by dressing up and having fun along the way. I'll never be classed as a fast runner but I dont mind, it's all about finding joy in the journey.

 Some of the children RTCW support just need something as simple as an iPad so they can still continue to do homework and keep in touch with school friends whilst in hospital receiving treatment for life threatening illnesses and sometimes your donations go towards sending a family on a holiday to create special memories with loved ones.

I have 3 beautiful young children who I'm so very thankful for and my little clarkypea number 4 who I will never get to hold in my arms but I will carry in my heart forever. These are my little reasons to run and the reason I choose to raise money for such wonderful little childrens charities.
