Kellie's 100 marathon adventures continued!

London Marathon 2019 · 28 April 2019 ·
Hello, welcome to my marathon adventures just giving page.
In 2017, shortly after having my 3rd baby (Angus!) I ran and completed my first ever marathon and raised £840 for our local hospice who had cared for my nana Betty. It was during the training and completion of this marathon that the running bug bit (I didn't really run before having children and the most I had run since high school was about 5k) and I realised not only did I love running but I loved the fundraising.
In 2018 I was one of the lucky few who was given a ballot place in the London marathon (equivalent of winning the lottery) and so I decided to use this place to fundraise again. I chose our local hospice again and also found a lovely small charity called Round Table Children's Wish who do a wonderful job making the dreams and wishes of children with life threatening illnesses come true and enable them to have experiences and make lasting memories with their families. Having three young children myself this was something I felt very close to.
So now I have taken a huge HUGE leap and decided I want to go on a massive running adventure and ultimately be In the 100 marathon club by the time I'm 70 years old (yes that means complete 100 marathons!) And along the way have lots of fun, tick some things off my bucket list but most importantly raise lots of money for charities.
I met a wonderful lady last year called samantha who was the most loveliest fundraising officer at RTCW and she has very kindly let me be a part of the 2019 london marathon team. I cannot wait to take on that challenge again ( I have a few challenges before London 2019 though)
So far on my 100 marathon adventure we have raised together over £3600 ( Stirling marathon 2017 £841 for st johns hospice, London marathon 2018 almost £2800 devided between st johns and RTCW) so now please help me in my upcoming challenges by giving as little or as much as you would like to help me reach my target of £1800 for Round Table Children's wish.
Thankyou for reading and for your on going support,
