As you know, I will be running my very first Virgin London Marathon on Sunday 25th April 2010. That's right folks, a whole 26 miles and 385 yards across the streets of London and I am proud to be supporting a very deserving charity along the way; the famous Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.

Those who know me well, will know I am a keen runner - but also a bit of a softy at heart, which is why I am honoured to be raising valuble funds for all the needy dogs and cats of London town. It costs a staggering £10 MILLION every year to run  the Battersea charity - and they do such a fantastic job taking in stray & abandoned animals, looking after them and re-homing them to new loving owners if their original ones cant be found.

I have been following a strict marathon training programme since October which has seen me running up to 6 days a week in rain/snow/ice/wind/sub zero temperatures/dark mornings and even darker evenings. Torture. So I now need your support!!

I would love it if you would help me in my quest to complete the marathon and make it possible to present Battersea with my target sponsorship amount of £2,000. I know times are hard right now, but I really would appreciate any amount (no matter how small) you can pledge to help me reach my goal.
