Story

Dad spent the last 3 weeks of his life in St Oswald's Hospice in Gosforth, Newcastle receiving incredible care, love and laughter from all of the staff and volunteers.

In a moment of madness, I told dad that I wanted to run the 2022 Great North Run to raise funds for St Oswald's Hospice in Gosforth to say THANK YOU for everything they have done for the Wright-Whyte family, and enable the hospice team to continue providing exceptional levels of care for many more families when they need it most.

Zoe, one of my oldest schoolfriends, has volunteered to run with me.  Anything you can contribute to St Oswalds will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for your kindness and support!
