Story
Having been at this running malarkey now for a wee while, I thought it was about time that I got serious! Soooo, having watched Dad complete the 2013 Dublin Marathon, I thought this year maybe I could do it too (famous last words!).
We also realised that we wanted to make the 26.2 miles really count, and so we are trying to raise a few quid for a worthwhile cause. Plus it will be an extra bit of motivation for me to get over that finish line!
As you can see we've decided to try to raise a few much needed euros for the Irish Heart Foundation. (I'll be raising funds online, and Dad will be trying to raise a few quid with his sponsorship cards. The charity is close to us for multiple reasons).
We would be most thankful of your support, and I can assure you that any and all donations are greatly welcomed and appreciated by both us and the Irish Heart Foundation.
So if you see us on the road over the next few months, give us a wave. And if you're in Dublin on the day, keep an eye out for us :)
