The Little Black Dress Initiative 2017, 20 February 2017
Making Poverty Unfashionable

Story

LBDI is a week-long, social media-driven fundraising campaign that uses the iconic “Little Black Dress” to raise awareness about poverty and its effects on women in society. Participants wear one black dress for five consecutive days and are encouraged to harness the power of their social media platforms to drive online donations and educate others about poverty in their local community.

I am excited to participate in this initiative I hope that through my sharing my story of how the week goes, it will help raise awareness to the struggle that some women face day after day  living in poverty.  Thanks so much in advance for your support friends & family!!!  XOXO
