Since the 6.4 magnitude earthquake hit Albania just before 4am in the early hours of Tuesday morning on 26th November, the death toll continues to rise each day. The families of victims are now made homeless, their homes in pieces being unable to flee the country.

For the poorest European nation, sustaining the damage and shock, and to begin rebuilding the towns and cities affected, while attempting to provide basic commodities to those affected is an extreme challenge for the population and emergency/military services.

These funds will benefit the survivors and families of victims affected by the disaster by providing them with food, shelter and funding towards the funerals of their loved ones.
