1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer. At Prostate Cancer UK, we’re giving every man the power to navigate it. With over £100 million invested in research, treatment, and care, we’re building a future where prostate cancer no longer cuts men’s lives short. Together, we can help save men’s lives.

Story

I know I said I wouldn't run another marathon after my first effort at London 2017 but I've been inspired to do it again in memory of former colleague Ralph Ellis. Ralph was a top pro and real gent, and even three months before his sad passing last year he cycled to Amsterdam to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK. So I've picked up the baton on his behalf and hopefully we can raise some funds to help put an end to this awful disease.

On February 6th, my 57th birthday, the sports writing profession also lost Vikki Orvice – another former colleague – and Clive White. So there is plenty to do to beat all types of cancers. But Ralphie, this one's for you......

Please chip in a few quid if you can.
