Lake District Challenge 2022 · 11 June 2022 to 12 June 2022 ·

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Parkinson’s UK helped me to understand and to come to terms with the condition. I now want to help raise funds for research to help younger sufferers, especially those with young families. I will be taking part in the UK Ultra Challenge in the Lakes District over 2 days in June 2022. I am also doing a virtual Lands End to John O’ Groats challenge of  874 miles and have completed 55 miles in the first week of 2022. Parkinson’s symptoms include restless legs and lack of sleep so I plan to put those to good use.
