I am cycling 45 miles from Glasgow to Edinburgh on the 9th of September in the Pedal for Scotland Challenge. I am an avid cyclist and have competed in cycling competitions to fundraise in the past.

This time I am raising money for the Alzheimer's Society who provided an amazing amount of care and support to my family when my nan was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia. I am forever grateful for the support and advice they were able to give that led to her quality of life being better for the remaining time she had.

My nan loaned me the money for the bike I will be using in this challenge and I know she would appreciate the effort and I am proud to do this to honour her memory.

I am cycling this challenge as part of The Wise Group team who are a local employability support service who have supported me to develop my skills and gain sustainable employment.
