Thanks for visiting my page.
I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation which has always been close to me since my father died of a Heart Attack in 1981 and more recently when I had a TIA as a result of AF (Arterial Fibrillation) in 2021. In January 2022 I had an operation which successfully fixed the AF. At the age of 67 this will be my first marathon, though I have run a number of 10k over recent years, so this will be quite a challenge and I will need all the support anyone can give me. I'd be so grateful for your support for this great cause.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
