Story

Thanks for donating.

Many of you will know the persuasive power of Maxine & Rachel - for those who don’t here’s the lowdown. Aside from working exceptionally hard at Nando’s they both give up their time helping at the Clymping Dog Sanctuary. Clymping is a very strange name - but let’s ignore that!

The sanctuary has been around since the 1950s and takes in any dog that needs help to be re-homed or looked after and loved long-term. Many of you who have pets will understand just how much of a difference they can make to our lives. It costs around £11 a day to look after a dog in the sanctuary and that’s where we need your support.

I’m hoping to raise as much as possible by running the London Marathon. I wasn’t the first choice when it came to picking an athlete - Michael Gardner was. Unfortunately he’s been around since the 1950s too and can’t make it due to injury! Maxine & Rachel had a long look at all the other potential candidates in Nando’s - could it be the triathlete Colin? Or Tim the cyclist? Maybe Garry who ran the Brighton Marathon so hard his nipples bleed?!  No - there was only one obvious choice - me…

So dig deep - this will be tough but let’s raise a load of money for the Nan-dogs!!!! 🌶🐶xx
