Had some really positive feedback on my training so far from our Sports Science Department today. Really pleased! They are in the top 10 for New Universities you know :)

Did baseline fitness assessment at work yesterday. Great fun! Stay tuned for results...
In April 2009 my Mam died from cancer. She was looked after towards the end by a Macmillan nurse, and I think the charity do amazing work. My Dad died from cancer a week before I started my new job at Teesside University in October 2010. I did the Sheffield Half Marathon in 2010 as a way of remembering my Mam, and raising money for charity, and I am now doing the GNR 2011 to remember Mam and Dad, and to raise (hopefully) even more money. I am a very average runner, and running the 13.1 miles will not be easy for me, so your kind donations will help me keep going!
I’d like to raise at least £600 for Macmillan in this their centenary year. Thanks ever so much for anything you can afford to give! :D
