Gary's story.

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a fatal debilitating disease that
devastates the lives of those living with it, as well as the loved ones caring for them. I bear witness to this as I was unfortunate enough to be diagnosed with MND last year so have first-hand experience of the distressing life changing affects that accompany this rare, but brutal, disease.

The MND Association provides aid to suffers like me to help with their
day-to-day hardships. Thanks to donations, to-date, I have been able to benefit from their support grant scheme to assist with the installation of hand rails to ease access to my property as well as provision of a lightweight wheelchair through their Quality Of Life grant to aid my mobility. And as my symptoms worsen with time, I will be relying more and more on their support.

It is with eternal thanks to people like Keith for raising funds for,
and awareness of, the MNDA, so that they are able to help sufferers like me through unpleasant and frightening times. I am very aware that times are hard during this cost-of-living crisis, but any donations would be hugely appreciated.
