We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On Sunday 27th May 2012, Jason Brewell (my work colleague) and I (Keith Gibson) are running in the Edinburgh Marathon.

This is my first ever Marathon, so I chose Edinburgh to do it in as it's my home city. I hope I can finish in a reasonable time to make all my training this year worthwhile !

If you are able to donate to Cancer Research UK in recognition of the hard work that  we are putting in to complete this Event, then we would be grateful if you would do so. Thanks in advance from us.

Cancer is a disease that affects everyone - family and neighbours and friends. Fortunately, we are developing treatments that are helping us beat it. So, any money that can be put to adding into researching new drugs and equipment for scientists in this ongoing fight will help us all.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
