MS Belfast Walk 2022- Keep on Smyelin!

Fundraising for Multiple Sclerosis Society
I am walking at the MS Walk 2022 to help stop MS. I was diagnosed with Relapsing and Remitting MS back in 2019, at age 18. I am determined to raise as much awareness about MS as I possibly can, especially for younger people with MS.. Back when I was diagnosed at 18, I wasn’t sure ‘what a life with MS’ consisted of. I, like many other young people with MS, thought the worst case scenario…My life is over. Fast-forward, almost 3 years after my diagnosis… I am now 21, I am learning more and more about my MS each day, I am happy and most importantly I’m still living a close to normal life. I think it’s really important to highlight that each MS journey is so unique. By completing the Belfast MS Walk 22, we hope to raise more funds for the MS Society and share a positive and hopeful attitude towards MS! We have decided to call our team “Keep on Smyelin” - as no matter how challenging things may be, it’s so important to keep smiling!☺️
What is MS?
MS is an unpredictable and incurable condition that affects people's nervous systems. It can attack suddenly or progress steadily, bringing a range of symptoms!
Why donate?
It’s so so important to donate, every donation will go towards life-changing MS research such as new treatments and providing services that can really help someone with MS!
