Our aim is to raise as much awareness and money as we possibly can to support Caitlin with her scoliosis journey. We originally set up this page to help fund surgery but because of COVID, Caitlin has lost her chance at having non-fusion surgery over the summer.
Caitlin and her family now need time to find the next best thing.
Until relevant surgery can go ahead Caitlin will benefit from specialised equipment and support to give her comfort and relief and enable her to carry on living her life to the full with her scoliosis. She and her family need to consider Schroth therapy techniques to give support while they face the uncertainty of whether Caitlin will still be a good candidate for ASC.
Therefore her colleagues at Sprowston infant school, Rowan, Amy and Kirsty have all decided to walk 33 kilometres (1 kilometre for every vertebrae) across the Norfolk coastline on Saturday 17th July. We will be starting at Wells-Next-the-Sea and finishing at Cromer. Furthermore we intend to do this dressed as cheerleaders!
We welcome any support whether that be coming down on the day to cheer us on (don't forget the pom-poms) or donating to Caitlin's fund on this page. We want to do all that we can for this amazing family and ensure Caitlin can continue to lead a healthy and happy life.
Please donate generously. Thank you
