Myself and three other colleagues will be cycling 260km over three days in May in order to raise money for LNADJ, which will help to build homes for Tanzania's most vulnerable children.

For this fundraising campaign, LNADJ will be focusing their efforts on providing specifically designed housing for a number of special needs children who require long term care.

The children will be in care until they are adults, so having a community feeling is key and a safe place to live with carers will bring about a sense of independence.

Some of the plans have already been drawn up - this facility will be 18 bedrooms whilst also lending itself to be easily extended. The project will be delivered in stages so all funds raised by the ride will no doubt enable it to be built quicker.

It's a cause that we are all extremely passionate about, so we would be grateful for any donation (no matter how big or small) as it will all make a huge difference.
