Story
Hello we are Keeley (11) and Connor (9) and we love fundraising for Muscular Dystrophy (MD) in memory of our Grandma Sandra and for our auntie Alannah.
The London Marathon should of been this weekend on Sunday 26th April, we had one person running for our family fund Succeeding for Sandra. Charities like MD will loose out on so much money from this being postponed and many other events cancelled due to Covid-19. We want to help them in this difficult time and wanted to get involved in the 2.6 or 26 challenge.
We will be hosting a couple of raffles (on Succeeding for Sandra FB page) and some challenges throughout the week and will go live on FB when doing our challenges.
What are the challenges you ask...? YOU decide!! for a donation to this page of a minimum of £2.60 you can nominate KEELEY or CONNOR to do a challenge of either 2.6 or 26 ... of whatever you like.
For example, you could donate £2.60 for KEELEY to jump up and down for 26 minutes or £2.60 for CONNOR to run 26 laps of the street OR £5.20 for them BOTH to do a challenge of your choice.
When you donate please leave your name and the name of who you would like to do the challenge and what you would like us to do :) - remember they can be as fun or as wacky as you like!!
Please support us in this challenge and lets help the charity who need us now more than ever!!
Save the UK's Charities General fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.
