Story
Keda, Hettie and Lyra will be walking 10k and raising money to help the British Red Cross. We will be dressed as The Arnolfini Portrait by Jan van Eyck, although we will probably look rather less serene. You can see photos of our previous walk (dressed as The Two Fridas for Cancer Research) in the Gallery.
In over 190 countries, the Red Cross help anyone, anywhere, who needs them.
Whether it’s supporting people through the conflict in Ukraine, helping those whose homes have been destroyed by storms in the UK, or supporting people who’ve lost everything after the earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria, the British Red Cross strives to get them the help they need.
Please sponsor our walk. However much you can give, your donation will help people who desperately need support.
£5 could provide water sanitation and hygiene training that helps people to stay healthy after a disaster
£10 could provide mosquito nets to a family in Nigeria, protecting them from diseases like malaria.
£20 could pay for essentials for a new parent in the UK who’s lost everything during flooding.
We're walking for humanity because we believe every person deserves help in times of crisis. Together, we are the world's emergency responders
