The Taxi Charity for Military Veterans is very close to my heart. It is run by amazing volunteers who do incredible work. Founded by three London cab drivers, in 1948, whilst sitting in the Bedford Arms, in Fulham, nobody could have foreseen that it would develop into such an important part of many veterans and cab drivers lives.

Having witnessed this work, first-hand, I decided that instead of having a birthday party, to celebrate my 60^th, I would raise money for this wonderful cause. This is where you come in…

On 9 September 2023 you will find me on the Thames Bridges Trek. I'll be walking 25km and crossing 16 historic bridges. It would be fantastic if, rather than buying me a birthday present, you could sponsor me. Now I know that some of you have already been very generous and given me a gift so this request goes out to the rest of you – you know who you are.
