Kay's fundraising page - London Marathon

Virgin London Marathon 2013 · 21 April 2013 ·
Hi everyone,
After running a few half marathons I’ve now decided to up the ante and take part in the iconic London Marathon. For the next 4 months I will be running further and training harder than ever before. My ultimate aim is to raise £1,500 for the British Forces Foundation, a charity that promotes the efficiency of our Armed Forces by promoting the well-being and morale of all service personnel. With on-going commitments overseas our Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen can expect to spend even longer periods away from their homes and families – and thus maintaining their morale becomes all the more important.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please, if one of your New Year's Resolutions is to give to charity or to just help out someone in need, dig deep and donate now to help me reach my target. Every penny you can spare will motivate me on those cold, dark, damp streets, and help to bring light to so many service personnel.
Thanks for your support,
Kay x
