On the 24th March 2019 I am running the Colchester half marathon to raise vital funds for Harvey.
Harvey suffers from Quadriplegic Spastic Cerebral Palsy due to brain damage (which affects 3 of his limbs, his left arm, hand and both his legs) The left side of his body is affected the most from his head, to his eyes, to his toes.
Harvey has a severe vision impairment, He is long sighted & requires glasses. He also has a diagnosis of Global Development Delay which means He is delayed in all areas of communication, learning and need full assistance with transfers to his equipment and care.
Due to alot of indepth research & recommendations, Harveys mum Charlotte found a fantastic team of private physios which is helping prolong his progress.
However it costs alot of money for him to attend. This treatment is unfortunately NOT available to him on the NHS.
Harveys is a very active little boy, who loves a challenge and I know He has a lot more to give, to achieve his dream of independently walking and Kids Physio Works can help him get there!
Harvey only receives physiotherapy from the NHS 3 times a year via a group session.
Kids Physio Works can provide 1-1 2hrs sessions but at a cost of £145 an hour.
It's doesn't matter how much or how little you have to offer every penny counts
