Story
Hello!
Firstly, thank you for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page. I am taking part in the Blackpool 10k Fun Run, with the aim of raising money for the eating disorder charity - Beat.
Why Beat I hear you ask? 1.6 million men and women are affected by eating disorders, and they claim more lives than any other mental illness. Beat campaigns for better services and treatment for eating disorders, provides support and encouragement for ED sufferers, provides information for all, and challenges stigmatisation. Beat also reaches out to those who may not have a full blown eating disorder, but those who have unhealthy relationships with food and/or their body. Being both a student mental health nurse and someone who struggles with this, it lies very close to my heart.
SO! What can YOU do? Well, you can donate any amount of money that you wish to sponsor me in this 10k Fun Run. Trust me, I'm probably going to collapse at 1k, so you're sponsoring something challenging for me. Whether it is £1 or £10, every penny is truly appreciated and goes to such a brilliant cause.
Thank you,
Kayleigh.
