Story
I'm going to keep this brief, but I would like (absolutely need), some pennies for a terrifying plan I have masterminded. Tiz a very silly plan, and one I have not thought through.
I will be braving a jump in July 2023, to raise money for Trinity Palliative Care in loving memory of my dad who sadly passed with a short illness, on the 16th of September 2022.
Trinity helped and cared for my dad in his final few weeks, and we are truly grateful for this. The 24-hour care from all the staff meant so much to him and was sincerely humbling. He loved the fact he could get massages on demand (no jokes needed, as the ending was ultimately not a ‘happy’ one) and helped put him at ease during his last few weeks. Even up to my dad’s final days he was still comfortable and well looked after and given the circumstances this meant a lot to all the family.
As we know, my dad’s humour was at best, vastly inappropriate and beyond sarcastic. He was no messiah; he was a very naughty boy! I'm pretty sure if he was ever to have done something like this himself, (which absolutely would not have ever happened), it would have been in a dress. I’m fairly sure he wasn’t a transvestite, but one can never be too sure.
Going through what he went through in such a short space of time (3 months) we want to raise as much awareness as possible to help families who may go through the same or similar illness.
So, I've decided to set up this page to help raise as much or as little money as possible and take on a lifetime of fear of heights and do a sky dive. Don’t panic, I will have pants on, however.
And remember…
For life is quite absurd, and death's the final word, you must always face the curtain with a bow, forget about your sin, Give the audience a grin, Enjoy it, it's your last chance anyhow,
Always look on the bright side of life!
