Story

As many of you may know, I turn 40 in September and I have set myself the challenge of running the London Marathon a few weeks later! This is a big challenge for me, so your support (and donations - if you can afford them) would be very much welcomed.

I have been a Veterinary Nurse for 18 years, and therefore have seen first hand the important work that the Animal Care Trust do, exisitng to support the Royal Veterinary College's wide range of clinical, research and educational activities aimed at improving animal health and care. Being able to run on behalf of ACT to help both raise awareness of the work they do, and help fundraise for them is something important to me.

Your generous donations will help them support over 20,000 poorly pets a year, giving patients access to innovative treatments and the best facilities to keep them comfortable while they are in our care. It is only thanks to the overwhelming generosity of their supporters that the Royal Veterinary College can keep advancing veterinary medicine and saving animals' lives.

Please follow me and all of Team ACT as we head to the start line in Greenwich battling through our training and fundraising to the finish line in the Mall. I will post regular updates of how my training is progressing and I would be very grateful if you can donate something to help me complete this lifetime ambition and challenge, all in support of the ACT!
